Data-Driven Innovation

Unify

Bring customer data together from multiple sources into a single, campaign-ready view. Data matching, cleansing, deduplication and integration to drive personalised print, mail and communications at scale.

Unify

Where Unify fits

Personalisation is only as good as the underlying data. A direct mail campaign built on a duplicated customer file wastes cost and irritates recipients. A patient communications program built on a fragmented data set risks compliance failures. A donor appeal built on stale addresses misses response.

Reacon's Unify service is the data layer that sits underneath our print and mailhouse operations. It takes data from multiple client sources, matches it against a common key, cleanses it, deduplicates it, and produces a single, campaign-ready view of each customer, patient, donor or member. That clean data then feeds the personalised send.

Our position as one of seven Australia Post Data Partners nationally reflects the depth of this capability. Australia Post Data Partner status is granted to a small group of mailhouses that meet the technical, security and process requirements to run data-driven mail at national scale.

What we do

Data receipt and secure ingestion. Client data is received through secure file transfer or API endpoints, ingested into an accredited environment, and stored under our ISO 27001 information security management system.

Data hygiene and cleansing. Address correction against Australia Post address files, name-and-address standardisation, deduplication using fuzzy matching, and validation of field-level data against expected formats.

Data matching and integration. Records are matched across multiple source files using deterministic and probabilistic matching methods, producing a single customer record from what was previously fragmented data across CRM, campaign management, transactional and third-party enrichment sources.

Suppression list application. Do-not-contact lists, unsubscribe flags, returned-mail suppression and regulatory exclusion lists are applied to the working file before send.

Segmentation and personalisation logic. Business rules for segmentation, offer selection and variable content are applied at the data layer, so the mail piece or print collateral is ready to personalise straight from the file.

Data enrichment. Where appropriate and where client permissions allow, external enrichment sources add demographic, geographic or behavioural data to strengthen segmentation.

Delivery back to client systems. Cleaned and unified data flows back to the client's source systems if required, closing the loop and improving the quality of the source data over time.

What we do not do

We work with client systems, not against them. Where a client is running Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe or an equivalent, our data pipelines connect through existing endpoints rather than requiring a platform switch.

  • We do not build customer data platforms (CDPs) or data warehouses under a licence model
  • We do not replace client-side CRM or marketing automation systems
  • We do not sell an independent SaaS data platform

When Unify matters

Unify pays back in three specific situations:

Multi-brand or multi-source data. A client operating across multiple brands, business units or acquired entities is holding customer data in multiple systems, and wants a single view for campaign execution.

Regulated personalisation. A patient communications program, financial services communication, or citizen notice program requires the data to be accurate at the individual level and traceable back to source.

Large-scale direct marketing. An acquisition or retention program relies on cleansed, segmented data flowing accurately into personalised mail at volume.

How to get started

Send a brief through the contact form or start-an-order page describing the source systems, the intended use of the unified data, and the accuracy and compliance requirement. An account lead will scope the work and issue a quote.
